Selling marble online without building a heavy platform

Paid on delivery, delivery cost by city, and customer data hashed before Meta.

The problem

A single-brand store needed a cash-on-delivery checkout and ad tracking Meta can trust, without a heavy platform.

What I built

A Next.js store with variants, delivery cost by city and Moroccan phone normalisation. The Conversions API sends hashed customer data from the server, one event per order with its own ID, and scripts set up the same shop on Shopify.

Technical details

Phone, name and city hashed (SHA-256), fbp/fbc read from cookies
Shopify bootstrap: products, collections, pages, theme settings
IP rate limiting on the order endpoint
A test that fails on generic design tells (Inter font, emoji)

The result

15 tests check the math, not just that the page loads: picking a variant must move the total from 4,990 to 6,490.
