The problem

Moroccan cash-on-delivery shops sell mostly on WhatsApp, in Darija, where generic bots fail and a wrong action becomes a real parcel.

What I built

A multi-tenant SaaS with a hand-written tool-use loop on the Claude API (12 tools), product search on text and images, and Moroccan couriers connected. Deterministic checks catch the model promising an action it did not perform.

Prompt-injection defence: untrusted text delimited by a fresh random nonce each turn
Daily LLM cost cap per merchant
Message queue with FOR UPDATE SKIP LOCKED, drained by pg_cron
Shopify app flow: OAuth, billing, GDPR webhooks

The result

Real production bugs are locked out by tests. One pack once created 4 orders: a lock and a 60-second merge window now prevent it. 53 test files in total.
