You pay for clicks and never learn what they did

A light page that knows where each order came from, and where people drop off.

The problem

Ad clicks lose attribution when the pixel loads late, and a small offer does not justify a full store.

What I built

A single static page with a cash-on-delivery form, a content security policy, and the click ID cookie rebuilt before the pixel loads. The Purchase event is deduplicated with the server.

Technical details

  1. Content security policy set as a header at the host, overriding the meta tag
  2. Server event ID reused by the browser Purchase
  3. Mobile-first, 271 lines

Stack

  • HTML/CSS/JS
  • Meta Pixel
  • Microsoft Clarity
  • Render

The result

Attribution is kept from the first click, and Microsoft Clarity shows where visitors drop off.
